GoHighLevel Agency for Indiana Businesses
GoHighLevel USA serves as a remote GoHighLevel agency Indiana companies hire to run GHL texting, calling and AI voice inside the state’s telephone privacy and autodialer statutes. Indiana counts sales texts as telephone sales calls and limits recorded or synthesized voice messages, so we set those limits first and then file your A2P 10DLC registration.

Texts count as sales calls
Autodialed message hours
Two zones, contact-level timing
Brand and campaign submitted
Inside a GoHighLevel Agency Indiana Setup
Indiana treats texts, recorded voices and synthesized voices strictly, so these settings come before any campaign.
State List Checks
Contacts are compared against the Indiana do-not-call listing, which refreshes four times a year, before any sales text or call.
Text-as-Call Rules
SMS and MMS promotions follow the same permission and listing checks as phone calls, matching how Indiana defines a sales call.
Voice Message Limits
Recorded drops and AI voice calls are restricted to contacts who agreed to them, and commercial ones run from 9 a.m. only.
Caller Introductions
Live callers get scripts that open with their true name, the business they represent and who employs them.
Two-Zone Scheduling
Contacts in the twelve Central-time counties are tagged with their own zone so reminders and offers arrive at local hours.
Plant-to-Clinic Pipelines
Pipelines for manufacturers, logistics firms, healthcare providers and home services, shaped around how Hoosier buyers request quotes.

Texts, Autodialers and Time Zones: A GoHighLevel Agency Indiana Guide
Two Indiana statutes shape how a GHL account may text and call, and the state’s split time zones decide when.
Indiana Counts a Sales Text as a Telephone Sales Call
Indiana’s telephone privacy law, IC 24-4.7, bars a telephone solicitor from calling or causing a call to any number on the most current quarterly listing kept by the Attorney General’s consumer protection division. A 2024 amendment made the definition explicit: a telephone sales call includes text, graphic, image, photo or multimedia messages sent by SMS, MMS, over-the-top apps or similar services.
The statute reaches anyone making or causing sales calls to Indiana consumers, from inside or outside the state. Consumers can list home, wireless and VoIP numbers, and the state listing is updated on January 1, April 1, July 1 and October 1.
Anyone who obtains consumer information containing phone numbers must also strip out numbers on the current listing. That covers the lead lists many businesses buy or swap.
Who Is Exempt, and Who Is Not
The article does not apply to calls made at the consumer’s express request or calls tied to an unfinished debt or contract. Other exemptions cover charity volunteers and staff, newspaper subscription calls, licensed real estate brokers who finish the sale in person, and licensed insurance producers.
Unlike many states, Indiana has no general existing-customer exemption. Only broadband providers and financial institutions get one, and the state’s own do-not-call site warns that other companies with an existing relationship still need permission before making sales calls.
When a non-exempt solicitor does call, the person must immediately give their true first and last name, the business they are calling for, and the company that employs or contracts them. The Attorney General can seek up to $10,000 for a first violation and $25,000 for each later one, with every listed call counted separately.
Autodialers and Synthesized Voices Under IC 24-5-14
Indiana’s automatic dialing chapter covers any device that dials numbers and delivers a prerecorded or synthesized voice message. A caller may use one only when the subscriber knowingly requested or consented to the message, or when a live operator obtains consent first.
For commercial solicitation, these messages may not reach a subscriber before 9 a.m. or after 8 p.m. The chapter also requires disconnecting within ten seconds after the subscriber hangs up, and it bars such calls to hospitals, health facilities, police and fire departments.
Federal law points the same way: an FCC declaratory ruling in February 2024 confirmed that voices generated by AI fall under the TCPA’s limits on artificial voices, so those calls need prior express consent. HighLevel’s help center says Voice AI dials from 8 in the morning to 8 at night and performs no consent check, so the first hour and the consent records are ours to handle.
How a GoHighLevel Agency Indiana Build Differs From GHL Defaults
Out of the box, GoHighLevel knows nothing about Indiana’s listing or its voice-message hours. This table shows where the platform’s defaults leave gaps and how we close each one.
| Indiana rule | Statute | GHL default | What we change |
|---|---|---|---|
| Sales texts and calls barred to listed numbers | IC 24-4.7-4-1 | No state listing check built in | Imports screened against your current listing download |
| Recorded or synthesized messages need consent or a live operator | IC 24-5-14-5 | Voice AI does not validate consent | AI and recorded calls limited to contacts with consent on file |
| Commercial voice messages only 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. | IC 24-5-14-8 | Voice AI window opens at 8 a.m. | Campaign start times pushed to 9 a.m. local |
| Caller states name, client and employer | IC 24-4.7-4-2 | Scripts are yours to write | Opening lines drafted into call scripts |
| Disconnect within 10 seconds after hang-up | IC 24-5-14-6 | Depends on the dialing tool | Confirmed during testing |

Twelve Central-Time Counties and Your Send Windows
Federal time-zone rules at 49 CFR 71.5 put most of Indiana on Eastern time but leave two corners in Central time. In the northwest, Lake, Porter, LaPorte, Starke, Jasper and Newton counties follow Chicago’s clock; in the southwest, Posey, Vanderburgh, Gibson, Warrick, Spencer and Perry counties do too.
That puts Gary, Hammond and Evansville an hour behind Indianapolis, Fort Wayne and South Bend. A 9 a.m. start set on Eastern time would hit Central-zone phones at 8 a.m., one hour too early for an autodialed message.
GHL can time each workflow by the contact’s own time zone and falls back to the account setting when none is stored. Every GoHighLevel agency Indiana build fills that field from address or county data, because a phone number alone does not reveal which side of the zone line someone lives on.
Indiana Industries We Build For
The Indiana Economic Development Corporation highlights advanced manufacturing, life sciences, mobility, semiconductors, agbioscience, defense, and logistics and transportation. Among Indiana payroll sectors tracked by the BLS, trade, transportation and utilities employs the most people, with education and health services next and manufacturing third.
We build quote-to-order pipelines for manufacturers and distributors, intake flows for clinics, and estimate follow-up for home service crews. Staffing firms feeding plants can begin with our recruiting CRM, and practices can compare our medical practice CRM.
GoHighLevel USA keeps no Indiana office; we work remotely with teams in Indianapolis, Fort Wayne, Evansville, South Bend and smaller towns. Companies that also reach Chicago-area customers can read our Illinois setup notes, and failed texts in an existing account are covered on our GoHighLevel A2P help page.
This is general information, not legal advice; confirm with counsel how IC 24-4.7, IC 24-5-14 and the TCPA apply to your Indiana campaigns. Last reviewed: October 15, 2026.
GoHighLevel in Indiana: Questions, Answered
Yes. Since a 2024 amendment, IC 24-4.7 defines a telephone sales call to include text, picture and multimedia messages sent by SMS, MMS or messaging apps. A sales text to a number on the Indiana listing is treated like a sales call, so we screen texting lists the same way as calling lists.
Indiana’s autodialer chapter covers devices that deliver prerecorded or synthesized voice messages. They need the subscriber’s request or consent, or a live operator who gets consent first, and commercial ones may run only from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. The FCC also treats AI voices as artificial voices requiring consent.
Indiana’s telephone privacy law has no general existing-relationship exemption; only broadband providers and financial institutions get one. The state’s do-not-call site says other companies still need permission for sales calls. Exemptions such as an express request may still apply, so ask your attorney before relying on one.
Under 49 CFR 71.5, Lake, Porter, LaPorte, Starke, Jasper and Newton in the northwest and Posey, Vanderburgh, Gibson, Warrick, Spencer and Perry in the southwest follow Central time. Everything else in Indiana is Eastern. We store a time zone on each contact so sends land at local hours.
The state listing refreshes four times a year, on January 1, April 1, July 1 and October 1, and telemarketers sign up for access through the Attorney General’s do-not-call site. Those dates go on your compliance calendar, and they are part of every done-for-you GoHighLevel setup we deliver for Indiana.
No. We are a remote team and don’t list an Indiana address. Kickoff, building, testing and training run through video meetings and shared screens, inside a GoHighLevel account your company owns, and we schedule sessions around both Eastern and Central time.
