GOHIGHLEVEL AGENCY FOR TENNESSEE

GoHighLevel Agency for Tennessee Businesses

GoHighLevel USA is a remote GoHighLevel agency Tennessee businesses use to run GHL texting, calling and booking across a state cut in two by the Eastern-Central time line. Knoxville and Chattanooga sit an hour ahead of Nashville and Memphis, so we time every message by the contact’s own zone, handle opt-outs under the FCC’s newer rules and file your A2P 10DLC registration.

WHAT YOU GET

What a GoHighLevel Agency Tennessee Build Includes

Tennessee accounts start with time zones, opt-outs and voice consent, then move on to pipelines and funnels.

Zone-Correct Timing

Each contact carries Eastern or Central time based on where they live, so East Tennessee leads are never messaged an hour early.

Broad Opt-Out Capture

Stop, quit, cancel, revoke and similar replies are treated as opt-outs, with unusual wording sent to a person for review.

AI Voice Consent

Voice AI and recorded calls go only to contacts whose consent record covers an artificial voice, opening with a clear disclosure.

Registry Screening

Purchased or aged lists stay out of sales automations until your team confirms a recent national do-not-call scrub.

Three-Region Pipelines

Pipelines tuned for West, Middle and East Tennessee buyers, from Memphis logistics firms to Knoxville home service crews.

Owned Account

Everything is built inside a GoHighLevel account your company owns, with logins and training handed over at launch.

THE DETAILS

Time Zones, Opt-Outs and AI Voice: A GoHighLevel Agency Tennessee Guide

What a GHL account needs when its Tennessee contacts span two time zones and expect modern opt-out handling.

Two Time Zones Inside One Tennessee Account

Federal time-zone rules at 49 CFR part 71 draw the Eastern-Central line through Tennessee. It runs along the western edges of Scott and Morgan counties, the northern edge of Roane County, and then the western edges of Rhea and Hamilton counties down to Georgia.

Everything east of that line, including Knoxville, Chattanooga and the Tri-Cities around Johnson City and Kingsport, keeps Eastern time. Nashville, Memphis, Clarksville and Jackson run on Central time, one hour behind.

A single account clock cannot serve both halves well. A reminder set for 8 a.m. Central reaches a Chattanooga phone at 9 a.m., while an evening offer timed for the east arrives an hour early in Memphis.

How GHL Handles Time Zones, and Where It Falls Short

HighLevel lets a workflow run on either the account time zone or each contact’s own zone. When a contact has no zone stored, the help center says the system falls back to the account setting.

Imported contacts often arrive without a usable address. For those, we work out the zone from the county or ZIP code in your old system, and anything we cannot place is flagged for your staff instead of guessed.

The workflow time window also applies the same hours to every included day. It cannot open later on Saturday or close earlier on weekdays, so Tennessee campaigns that need different weekend hours are split into separate workflows.

Voice AI follows its own rule. HighLevel says it calls within an 8-to-8 daytime band based on the time zone tied to the contact’s phone number, which may not match a Tennessee resident who moved from another state and kept their old number.

Federal Rules Every GoHighLevel Agency Tennessee Build Follows

The FCC’s TCPA rules keep telephone solicitations inside an 8 a.m.-9 p.m. local window wherever the recipient is, and they shield any number listed with the national registry. The same rules extend to telemarketing texts sent to cell phones.

Tennessee also has its own do-not-call statutes and privacy law. Those rules can add registration and list-scrubbing duties on top of the federal ones, so have your attorney cover them before you launch a cold outreach program.

The table below lists the federal points and how we reflect each one in GHL.

Opt-Outs Under the FCC’s Revocation Rule

Federal rules now spell out how people withdraw consent to robocalls and robotexts. A reply of stop, quit, end, revoke, opt out, cancel or unsubscribe counts automatically, and other wording counts too if a reasonable person would read it as a request to stop.

Senders cannot insist on one exclusive opt-out method, and a request made by any reasonable means must be honored within ten business days. A voicemail or email asking to stop creates a presumption that consent was revoked.

HighLevel’s help center gives STOP and UNSUBSCRIBE as examples of keywords that switch on Do Not Disturb. We make sure replies like “take me off your list” reach a person who can apply DND across texts, calls and email the same day.

AI Voice Agents and Tennessee Businesses

In February 2024 the FCC confirmed that AI technologies that generate human voices fall within the TCPA’s artificial or prerecorded voice rules. Calls using them need the called party’s prior express consent unless an emergency purpose or exemption applies.

HighLevel states that Voice AI does not check consent before dialing, though it offers a disclaimer setting for the opening of each call. We turn that disclosure on and restrict AI calling to contacts whose recorded permission covers it, which matters for entertainment, events and service companies experimenting with voice agents.

In every GoHighLevel agency Tennessee account, the consent wording on forms and booking pages names AI or prerecorded voice calls specifically. That way the record a contact leaves behind matches the channel you later use, and a staff member can see it on the contact before anyone launches a calling campaign.

Tennessee Industries and Metros We Serve

The Tennessee Department of Economic and Community Development lists industries including advanced manufacturing, automotive, distribution and logistics, film and entertainment, healthcare and life sciences, and headquarters, finance and tech. Federal payroll figures show trade, transportation and utilities as the largest employer group, with education and health services second and government third.

The BLS tracks ten Tennessee metro areas, from Nashville-Davidson-Murfreesboro-Franklin and Memphis to Knoxville, Chattanooga, Clarksville, Jackson, Johnson City, Kingsport-Bristol, Cleveland and Morristown. Clinics can review our medical practice CRM, and moving crews can look at the moving company CRM.

We keep no Tennessee office and work fully online. Chattanooga companies with Georgia customers can compare our Georgia setup, while the locations hub links to our other state guides.

This is general information, not legal advice; confirm with counsel how Tennessee statutes and the federal rules affect your outreach. Last reviewed: October 15, 2026.

FAQ

GoHighLevel in Tennessee: Questions, Answered

Under 49 CFR 71.5, the zone line follows the western edges of Scott and Morgan counties, the northern edge of Roane, and the western edges of Rhea and Hamilton. Knoxville, Chattanooga and the Tri-Cities are Eastern, while Nashville, Memphis and Clarksville are Central. We store the right zone on each contact.

Under the FCC rule, stop, quit, end, revoke, opt out, cancel and unsubscribe all count automatically, and other words count if a reasonable person would see a request to stop. Requests must be honored within ten business days. We route unusual refusals to your team for same-day handling.

Yes, with consent. The FCC confirmed in 2024 that AI-generated voices are artificial voices under the TCPA, so calls need the called party’s prior express consent unless an exemption applies. HighLevel’s Voice AI does not check consent itself, so we limit AI calling to contacts with permission on record.

Tennessee has its own do-not-call statutes and a state privacy law. We build every account to the federal registry and consent rules, then add any state-specific requirements your attorney confirms before launch.

Yes. We move contacts, pipelines and key history into GoHighLevel, then add time zones and DND status during the import so nothing sends at the wrong hour. Most Tennessee clients pair the move with our done-for-you GoHighLevel setup for the new automations.

No. We run as a remote company and list no Tennessee address. Every phase, from discovery to training, happens over scheduled video sessions in your own GoHighLevel account, and we book those sessions to suit both Eastern and Central-time staff.
