GoHighLevel USA is a remote GoHighLevel agency Georgia businesses hire to set up GHL calling, texting and follow-up around the state’s no-call law and federal do-not-call rules. What Our GoHighLevel Agency Georgia Setups Cover
Every GoHighLevel agency Georgia account starts with permission and opt-out records, then the sales system.

Permission on Record
Each contact keeps when and where they gave permission, the record a business relies on when a no-call complaint arrives.
Text Opt-Outs
STOP and UNSUBSCRIBE replies switch on Do Not Disturb, and we carry spoken removal requests over to calls and email.
Eastern Time Windows
Marketing sends follow the federal 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. window, timed to each contact's own timezone rather than your office clock.
Metro Atlanta Pipelines
Pipelines for home services, healthcare, real estate and production vendors, shaped around how Georgia buyers compare and book.

Calls, Texts and Consent: Your GoHighLevel Agency Georgia Guide
How Georgia’s no-call statute and the federal rules shape a GHL account, and what we configure for each.
Georgia’s No-Call Law, O.C.G.A. 46-5-27, in Plain Terms
Georgia’s telemarketing rules sit in section 46-5-27 of the Official Code of Georgia, inside the title on public utilities. The section defines a telephone solicitation as any voice communication over a telephone line meant to encourage the purchase or rental of, or investment in, property, goods or services.
The core rule is short. No person or entity may make, or cause to be made, a telephone solicitation to a subscriber who has registered an objection to receiving them under the state’s no-call system.
Two exclusions matter most for small businesses. Calls made with the subscriber’s prior express invitation or permission are outside the definition, and so are calls by or for someone the subscriber already has a prior or current business or personal relationship with.
Every caller must also state clearly who is initiating the call at the beginning of it. Knowingly blocking or getting around the subscriber’s caller ID is not allowed.
Why Georgia Violations Get Expensive
Many state no-call laws leave enforcement to the attorney general. Georgia also lets consumers sue. A person who receives more than one solicitation within 12 months in violation of the no-call or caller-identity rules can ask a court to stop the calls.
That person can also recover actual monetary loss or up to $2,000 in damages for each knowing violation, whichever is greater. Separately, the Attorney General can seek a cease-and-desist order and a civil penalty of up to $2,000 per knowing violation.
Most claims have to be filed within two years. A GoHighLevel agency Georgia businesses hire should therefore leave behind proof of permission and proof that stop requests were honored, because that record is what a business reaches for when a demand letter arrives.
Does the Georgia No-Call Law Cover Text Messages?
The statute’s definition speaks of a voice communication over a telephone line, and it does not mention text messages. On its face, section 46-5-27 is a calling law.
That does not leave Georgia texts unregulated. In a December 2023 order, the Federal Communications Commission codified that the National Do-Not-Call Registry’s protections apply to text messages; the FCC’s 2023 order spells this out.
So a marketing text to a registered Georgia number still needs a federal basis, such as consent or an existing relationship. In every GoHighLevel agency Georgia account we treat SMS and voice the same way for permission and opt-outs, which keeps the build simple and cautious.
Georgia and Federal Rules Side by Side
A Georgia account has to satisfy two layers at once. This table shows which layer each rule comes from and how we reflect it in GHL.
| Rule | Where it comes from | What we set in GHL |
|---|---|---|
| No solicitations to subscribers who registered an objection | O.C.G.A. 46-5-27 | Purchased or older lists parked outside sales automations until someone confirms the registry check |
| State who is calling; never block caller ID | O.C.G.A. 46-5-27 | Scripts, voicemail drops and AI voice greetings that name the business first, on numbers that show real caller ID |
| Registry protections cover texts | FCC order, December 2023 | SMS treated like calls for consent records and Do Not Disturb |
| Sales calls limited to 8 a.m. through 9 p.m. in the called person’s own time zone | FTC Telemarketing Sales Rule | Workflow time window set to those hours, timed by each contact’s timezone |
| Check call lists against the national registry at least every 31 days | FTC Telemarketing Sales Rule | A recurring reminder for whoever owns your outbound lists |
The FTC’s Telemarketing Sales Rule guide explains the federal calling window and the 31-day registry check in detail.
What We Switch On in a GoHighLevel Agency Georgia Build
- Permission on record. Forms, surveys, calendars and chat carry consent wording that names your business, and each contact keeps the date and source of their opt-in.
- Customer history you can prove. Past buyers and active clients are flagged from your sales records, not guessed, so the business-relationship exclusion is backed by real history.
- Caller identity up front. Phone numbers, call scripts and Voice AI greetings identify the business before anything else is said.
- Opt-outs on every channel. GHL sets Do Not Disturb when someone replies STOP or UNSUBSCRIBE; we also apply spoken requests to calls, texts and email.
- Carrier registration. We file the A2P 10DLC brand and campaign with an opt-in story that mirrors how your forms really collect consent. Live accounts with failed texts get the fixes on our GoHighLevel A2P help page.
Georgia sits fully in Eastern time, so one account timezone fits local work. We still store each contact’s timezone, because GHL falls back to the account setting when a contact has none and leads from other states would otherwise get Eastern-time sends. If you also sell across the state line, our Florida setup covers a state split between Eastern and Central time.
Atlanta, Savannah and Georgia’s Growth Markets
Metro Atlanta keeps adding people. The Census Bureau’s 2025 estimates rank Atlanta-Sandy Springs-Roswell third among US metro areas for numeric growth, and Jackson, Long and Dawson counties made the national top ten for percent growth.
The Georgia Department of Economic Development lists key industries that include film, logistics, life sciences, manufacturing, technology, and automotive and EV. Bureau of Labor Statistics data shows trade, transportation and utilities as Georgia’s largest job sector, followed by education and health services and by professional and business services.
Our GoHighLevel agency Georgia builds center on the businesses that live on calls and texts: home services, real estate and rentals, production and event vendors, and healthcare providers. For care providers, the home care agency CRM shows the intake work involved, and landlords can start with our property management CRM.
We have no Georgia office and do not claim one. As a remote GoHighLevel agency Georgia companies reach by video call, we work with Atlanta, Savannah, Augusta and Columbus businesses online, and our locations page lists every state we cover.
This is general information, not legal advice; confirm with counsel how section 46-5-27 and the federal rules apply to your calls and texts. Last reviewed: October 15, 2026.

GoHighLevel in Georgia: Questions, Answered
Section 46-5-27 defines a telephone solicitation as a voice communication over a telephone line and does not mention texts. Federal rules fill the gap: the FCC codified in 2023 that National Do-Not-Call Registry protections cover text messages. We handle permission and opt-outs for texts the same way as calls.
Yes. Someone who gets more than one violating solicitation within 12 months can sue for an injunction, actual loss or up to $2,000 per knowing violation, whichever is greater. The Attorney General can also seek civil penalties. Most actions must be brought within two years.
Georgia’s statute is silent on hours. Federally, the FTC’s Telemarketing Sales Rule bars sales calls before 8 a.m. or after 9 p.m. in the called person’s time zone unless they agreed to it. We apply that window to calls and marketing texts in GoHighLevel.
The Georgia definition excludes calls by or for a business the subscriber has a prior or current relationship with, and calls made with prior express permission. Federal rules have their own limits, and a stop request should always be honored. Ask your attorney before relying on any exclusion.
Yes. We can write forms, consent wording, confirmations and message templates in the languages your customers use, and route each contact to the right sequence. Consent language should be translated with care. Our done-for-you GoHighLevel setup covers writing that copy.
No. GoHighLevel USA is a remote GoHighLevel agency Georgia businesses work with through video calls and screen sharing in Eastern time, and we don’t list an address we don’t have. GoHighLevel runs in the cloud, so the full build happens inside your own account wherever your team works.
