GoHighLevel Jane App Integration for Clinics
A GoHighLevel Jane App integration lets a clinic keep charts, scheduling and billing in Jane while GoHighLevel runs new-patient marketing, reactivation and review requests. Jane does not hand out API keys, so every connection runs through a third-party bridge and needs a careful look at patient privacy. GoHighLevel USA plans and builds it through our GoHighLevel services.

Stays the clinical record
Jane has no open API today
Needed before PHI reaches GHL
Only what marketing needs
What Connecting Jane to GoHighLevel Is Good For
The goal is narrow on purpose: give GoHighLevel the appointment signals that drive marketing, and keep everything clinical in Jane.
New Patient Capture
Ad, website and phone inquiries are handled in GoHighLevel until the person books, so no prospect falls between the marketing team and the front desk.
Lapsed Patient Lists
Patients without a recent or upcoming visit can become a reactivation audience, using appointment dates rather than anything from the chart.
Post-Visit Reviews
A completed appointment can prompt a review request from GoHighLevel, with wording that never mentions the condition or treatment involved.
Two-Way Texting
One connector says staff can text patients from GoHighLevel with messages synced to the EMR contact, keeping conversations in one inbox.
Referral Source Tracking
Knowing which ads, partners or physicians produced booked patients helps you spend marketing money where it actually fills the schedule.
Voice AI Booking
A marketplace app pairs HighLevel Voice AI with live Jane availability, so callers can book while staff are treating patients.

- ✓ Clinics with a long list of past patients and no reactivation plan
- ✓ Owners prepared to sign a BAA and pay for HighLevel HIPAA features
- ✓ Agencies that manage marketing for several Jane-based clinics

GoHighLevel Jane App Integration: How It Works and Where It Stops
An honest look at what is possible with Jane today, what HIPAA asks of you, and how to keep clinical data out of your marketing system.
Does Jane App Integrate With GoHighLevel?
Not directly. Jane’s integrations FAQ says it does not currently have an open API or provide API keys, and has no plans to offer them at this time.
Jane does run a developer platform for approved technology partners, with practitioner-authorized access and webhooks. A clinic cannot simply generate credentials and wire Jane to GoHighLevel itself.
So any GoHighLevel Jane App integration you see today is built by an outside company that has found its own route to Jane data. That is not automatically a problem, but it changes the questions you should ask before connecting.
Connection Options in 2026
Marketplace connectors
When we scanned the public HighLevel App Marketplace listings in October 2026, we found two Jane apps, both from ClinicSync Pro. One syncs Jane with GoHighLevel for workflows, and the other lets HighLevel Voice AI book appointments into Jane through ClinicSync’s own booking logic.
ClinicSync’s listing mentions appointments, patients, invoices and tags. Its website states that it is not affiliated with or endorsed by Jane, so ask the vendor how it reaches Jane data and whether it will sign a BAA.
Questions to ask any connector vendor
- Will you sign a BAA with our clinic, and who are your own subprocessors?
- Which Jane fields do you read, and can we switch off the ones we do not need?
- Where is synced data stored, and how long do you keep it after we cancel?
- What happens to our GoHighLevel data if your access to Jane changes?
- How are failed syncs reported, and who on your team fixes them?
Zapier and middleware
Without a public Jane API there is no supported Jane trigger to build on, so do-it-yourself Zapier chains are not a realistic option. Be wary of anyone offering to scrape Jane screens or forward email notifications as a workaround.
Manual exports
For a one-off reactivation campaign, some clinics export a minimal patient list from Jane and import it into GoHighLevel. It is not a live sync, but it keeps the data you share small and fully under your control.
What Syncs and What Should Stay in Jane
| Data | Send to GoHighLevel? | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Name, email, mobile number | Yes | Needed for any follow-up |
| Appointment date, time and status | Yes | Drives reminders, reviews and reactivation |
| Practitioner and clinic location | Usually | Lets messages name the right clinic and team member |
| Invoices and balances | Only if a campaign truly needs it | Billing follow-up is often better handled in Jane |
| Chart notes, diagnoses, treatment plans | No | Clinical content has no marketing use and adds risk |
| Intake forms and outcome measures | No | Keep them in Jane, where they were collected |
Jane itself treats even patient names and email addresses as highly sensitive in its guidance on third-party services. Copying fewer fields is the easiest privacy control you have.
HIPAA Limits for a GoHighLevel Jane App Integration
Appointment details tied to a named patient are protected health information in a US practice. Once that data lands in GoHighLevel, the account has to be set up to hold it.
HighLevel’s HIPAA compliance article says accounts are not HIPAA compliant by default. Its paid HIPAA package adds a BAA, which the agency reviews and signs under Settings, plus encryption, audit logging and enforced multi-factor sign-in.
The package is billed monthly, cannot be cancelled once purchased, and the HIPAA switch on a sub-account cannot be turned off later. Contacts, notes, custom fields, texts, call recordings, emails, form submissions, calendars and invoices are listed as covered.
The BAA chain
- Your clinic and Jane, under Jane’s terms for your account
- Your clinic and whoever owns the GoHighLevel agency account
- That agency and HighLevel, through the signed HIPAA package
- Your clinic and the connector vendor that moves the data
If any link in that chain is missing, fix it before the first sync. This is general information, not legal advice; have a healthcare attorney or your privacy officer check your own obligations.
Campaigns That Work Without Clinical Data
Good clinic marketing rarely needs to know why someone came in. Appointment dates, visit counts and the treating practitioner are enough to run most of what moves the schedule.
- New-patient follow-up: fast replies to web, ad and phone inquiries until a first visit is booked in Jane
- Review requests: a short, neutral ask after a completed visit that never names a condition
- Reactivation: a check-in for patients with no visit in a set period and nothing upcoming
- Clinic news: new practitioners, extended hours or a new location, sent only to people who opted in to marketing
Write every message as if someone else might read the patient’s phone. “It has been a while since your last visit” is fine, while anything that hints at an injury, diagnosis or treatment is not.
Texting also needs its own paperwork. Your brand and campaign must be registered for A2P 10DLC, and the opt-in wording on your forms has to match what you actually send.
When to Hire a Developer
A marketplace app may be enough for a single clinic. Bring in our GoHighLevel developers when you run several Jane locations, need location-level reporting, or want to compare a connector against exports.
The follow-up matters as much as the data. We usually pair the integration with a chiropractic CRM or a physical therapy CRM build, so campaigns fit how your patients actually book.
Want a second opinion on a connector you are already testing? Contact our team and we will review the data it moves before you go live.
GoHighLevel and Jane App: Questions, Answered
No. Jane does not offer open API keys, and HighLevel has not built a Jane connector. The Jane apps on the HighLevel marketplace come from ClinicSync Pro, which says on its own site that it is not affiliated with or endorsed by Jane. Treat it as a third-party service and vet it like one.
Not in any supported way. Zapier needs an API or app on both sides, and Jane says it does not provide open API access or keys. Workarounds that read emails or screens tend to break and can leak patient data, so we do not recommend them for a US clinic.
Only once it is set up that way. A standard HighLevel account does not meet HIPAA requirements out of the box, and you need the paid HIPAA package with a signed BAA and HIPAA enabled on the sub-account. Even then, keep clinical details in Jane and send GoHighLevel only what marketing needs.
They can. Jane already sends its own reminders, so if a connector also feeds appointments into GoHighLevel, decide which system owns reminders and turn the other off. Patients receiving two texts for one visit is the fastest way to raise opt-outs and confuse the front desk.
A marketplace app from ClinicSync Pro says it can, by pairing HighLevel Voice AI with its own booking logic connected to Jane. It requires that vendor’s receptionist feature. Test real scenarios, such as new versus returning patients and different practitioners, before letting it take live calls.
Start with new-patient inquiry follow-up and a review request after completed visits, because neither needs clinical data. A ready-made physical therapy snapshot can shorten the build. Reactivation campaigns come next, once the sync has run cleanly for a few weeks and you trust the appointment data it delivers.
